There are many different types of chain drives for a wide array of applications including general use chains, silent chain drives, lube-free chains, super drive chains for heavy-duty applications, corrosion-resistant chain drives, and more. Chain drives are heavily used in automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, and other applications.
- U-Joint
- U-Joint is short for ‘universal joint’ and they are used in a wide variety of applications. U-joints are able to work at high misalignment angles and essentially connects two rotating objects together. U-joints are frequently used in the automotive industry because they transmit torque and motion between shafts
- Backstops
- Transmitting objects on something such as conveyor belt or bucket elevator up at incline could lead to potential damage or other hazards if the object falls or slides backwards. For this reason, a backstop is a critical component of power transmissions. If a reverse rotation is sensed due to excessive load, a backstop is engaged from backstop permits load engagement upon reversal

- Sprockets
- A sprocket is a toothed wheel that precisely fits into a shaft. High-quality, shaft-ready sprockets are an integral component of many power transmission systems. Sprockets are gear wheels and they help a chain rotate and shaft rotation. There are sprockets for large chain sprockets and small chain sprockets as well as drive chains.
